Roof Top Bar Floor 57
Jacey and I decided on Saturday to go to the rooftop bar Marini's on 57 which of course is located on the 57th floor of a building right next to the Petronas Towers. It was absolutely amazing and probably one of the highest views I've been to.
Pretty water front park we saw before heading up to the tower. It was a very pretty park and right next to a nice mall we had gone to the day before for an ATM and some dinner.
Cute picture of Jacey and I that some random guy took... In KL most of the people in public are men and it is so weird. Honestly like once we realized it we barely saw any women out. I cant really understand why that would be but perhaps it has to do with culture and religion in Malaysia? I think we were odd not only for Jacey's whiteness but also for being two girls alone out in public.
Literally the Petronas Towers were right in front of our faces. Some of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen in my life. The metal on the outside is a beautiful tone and the windows are a rather unique blue color. The towers have about a million sides to them too which must have made them a pain to build and a worse pain to wash the windows but they are absolutely stunning. At night they light up, I kind of wish we had had a later reservation to see that but it's okay. We were there for a pretty intense thunder and lightning storm though which made the view a bit more special because of the noise and the lightning reflecting off the towers.
Cool picture that Jacey took of me again using the sideways panorama! We couldn't get the towers in otherwise
From the interior the place was also pretty amazing (sideways panorama!)
This is the delicious cheese platter I got. It won't go straight for some reason so for now it is sideways...
