Rest Days
Just a quick update -
I'm currently staying in Salerno which is on the eastern part of the Amalfi Coast. It is more like a city and I'm staying in an Airbnb. It isn't really part of the Amalfi coast and more just a random coastal town. I can't say that I'm overly interested in being her or anything I just needed a few days off. I think you know that after 3 weeks or so that I just get tired of traveling, meeting people, thinking about things, having bad wifi, not having any privacy... So I'm kind of hermiting out in this little room. The wifi is great here and I couldn't really find anything to complain about at all except that I don't have AC in the room.
I'm heading out tomorrow morning for Munich and in a day or so my flight out to Jerusalem where I am Finally meeting Grant. I miss him first off but secondly I can only stand traveling alone for so long. I was extremely fortunate to meet 3 wonderful people while traveling alone and to never truly be alone though so that was wonderful.
I am also taking a break from Italian food... As much as I love it my last night in Amalfi I literally just had Calamari and lemonade for dinner and last night I had Indian food which was a wonderful break from all the tomatoes and delicious Italian food. I'll honestly probably have more Indian food tonight because I'm too lazy to walk anywhere else in search of food...
These days are insanely necessary during long trips I've found to rejuvenate your mind and your ability to deal with people, places, and things.
I'm pretty excited to announce as well that as for my first 3 weeks I'm just barely under budget and I'm pretty happy about that. I expect honestly that the next three weeks will be expensive :D
Lastly, having good wifi makes ALL the difference here so I'll be working tonight to get all the other photos up.
